The Raspollino Estate, so named, was built in 1909. It was designed by Leopoldo II di Lorena, Granduca di Toscana, along with other estates located in the immediate vicinity, as part of a single project.
The names of the estates referred either to the grand ducal family or to the local topography.
The Todella family, originating from the nearby town of Follonica, where their roots lie, has resided there since 1937.
The estate is situated on the hills not far from the splendid sea of Castiglione della Pescaia and spans a territory of approximately 22 hectares.
Here, vines and olive trees are cultivated, in addition to cereal crops used for raising purebred cattle.
